In 2012, Ghana was declared one of the nations with the highest percentages of self-described religious persons by the Gallup International Association. Almost everyone in the country is religious to a certain extent.
Most of our celebrities in secular fields pay respect to God in one way or another. There are some celebrities, however, who switched totally from the secular scene altogether and rededicated their lives, both personal and professional, to their religion.
And it looks like rapper Tinny who’s currently struggling to penetrate with his outmoded style of music will soon join the likes of Lord Kenya, Papa Shee, Yaw Siki, AzigiZar Junior, et Al. and make disciples of all nations!
This is because Tinny born Nii Addo Quaynor has disclosed on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm that he is ever ready to push The Pulpit agenda any moment from now if God calls him.
In an interview with the host of Highlife Paradise, Fiifi Pratt, the Ga dialect rapper said he would waste no time should God calls him to serve him in his vineyard. Tinny said he would be happy and willing to serve God because no one on earth has regretted obeying the call of God.
“Musicians who have become pastors are doing well and so if I receive that call, I will gladly accept this call,’’ he said.
The call to serve God as a pastor or a reverend is one that brings happiness to the individual so I would be willing to heed to God’s call when the time comes, Tinny proudly added.
