Takoradi-based radio and event Disc Jockey Prince Abdul Rashid Pennien a.k.a DJ Brusky has lauded medical doctor Captain Dr Lawrence Nsohlebna Nsoh for saving his wife’s life.
According to the Ahotor FM presenter in an interview with Smithnewsgh.com, his wife was admitted at 2 Medical Reception Station (2MRS) of Ghana Armed Forces Medical Services at Ampredo Barracks and the doctor did a marvelous work to save the wife who was suffering from ectopic.
Narrating his story to Smith News he said;
“One Sunday, I had to take my pregnant wife to hospital because she was having abdominal pains. When we got there the midwives did everything but to no avail so they had to call the doctor who has closed from church though he doesn’t work on Sundays.
So when the doctor came he said the situation is dangerous so they have to do surgery but they don’t do some at his hospital so unless Afia Kwanta or regional hospital.
He therefore suggested we go to his friend’s hospital (Benedict hospital) at Ntwaban. He called his friend and he also said he can’t do the surgery without payment because someone refused pay after surgery. So Dr Lawrence has to beg and plead till he agreed.
He therefore called ambulance to take my wife to the hospital. On our way I was crying so Dr Lawrence encouraged me that nothing will happen to my wife. The surgery was successfully and the doctor who did it didn’t ask for money. Dr Lawrence also pleaded with the hospital to reduce bills after seeing my condition.
Dr Lawrence gave me transportation to the house and since then he has been calling to check up on wife and also assisted us to pay the bills”.
DJ Brusky has been amazed at how the doctor was patient, kind and
had time for his wife so he wants use this platform to thank him for a good work done and to motivate other doctors to emulate this gesture.
